Starting yoga early on in life makes a big difference for the development of the body and brain. We take care to teach children asanas that are suitable for them.

Isha Hatha Yoga for Children introduces yoga through simple, life enhancing asanas and offers a unique possibility for every child to experience a joyful blossoming of their natural potential.
The program introduces yoga to children in a committed atmosphere, allowing each child to develop and live in optimal health and inner peace. Class size will be limited to 10 to ensure personal attention.
Offered as 90 minute sessions over 12 weeks, the program will teach the practices in a step by step manner. Every week, what has been covered previously will be reviewed, giving the child an opportunity to firmly establish what is being taught. During the 12-week program, they will be required to make journal entries on daily practice to help them establish consistency. At the end of the program, they will have a complete practice regimen. Kids will also receive some guidelines on healthy eating to complement their yoga practices and certain sessions will include fun games to creating an enjoyable learning atmosphere.
Upa Yoga is a simple yet powerful system of exercise that activates the joints, muscles, and energy system. Based on a sophisticated understanding of the body’s mechanics, Upa-Yoga dispels inertia in the body’s energy and brings ease to the whole system. It relieves physical stress and tiredness.

Yoga Namaskar is a simple and powerful system which activates the lumbar region of the spine and strengthens the muscles along the spine, preventing the spine’s collapse due to aging. Yoga Namaskar also has many all-around benefits for the entire body.

Children must be 8 - 13 years.
No previous experience of yoga is necessary.
